Tufi Dive, Adventure, Cultural Resort
Tufi Boutique Resort is situation in Oro Province on the northern beaches of Papua Papua New Guinea. It is a 1 hour flight from Port Moresby and is one of PNG's hidden secret destinations. It has world reknowned diving and is also very famous for its culture.
PNG Trekking Adventures works their Kokoda Trail itineraries to coincide with the flights to Tufi Resort. We can have trekkers off the track on Fridays and on the flight to Tufi 3pm that afternoon. You will be sitting at the bar watching the sunset drinking pina colada's directly off the track.
There is no better way to end an arduous 8 day Kokoda trek than this.
The Resort
The 19 deluxe bungalows have polished timber floors and are traditionally lined and all have stunning views either over the fjords or the ocean. They all have the civilized creature comforts, insect screens, air-cons, hot water, and ensuites, writing desk and outdoor settings overlooking the fjords, bar fridge, coffee and tea making facilities. All meals are included in the package, unless otherwise stated. In cases where food is not included in the package, you will be required to purchase a meals package, as all meals are eaten together in our restaurant.
Facilities Available
All meals, accommodation and transfers are included in the tariff. Drinks are available from the licensed bar at extra cost, along with bottled water and soft drinks. The resort operates all year round and can also cater for conferences, meetings and exhibitions. We will also accept bookings for the whole resort, subject to sufficient notice. Power supply is 24 hours (240v Australian standard). We offer guests a laundry service for additional cost. We have a range of activities available and can provide child minding services. The resort has a dive shop, a gift shop and can provide some basic items like sunscreen and insect repellent for sale. There is also a trade store close by that sells very basic items.
